Delivery service subject to a charge
If you need some literature at short notice and it is not available at any of the Hanover libraries you can take advantage of our delivery service, which is subject to a charge. Your order is transferred to other libraries and, depending on the delivery service, your desired literature will be sent directly to your home or to the TIB/UB for pickup. Prices and delivery times vary between services:
- Subito, the German library document delivery service ships books and article copies directly to your private address. Is your literature order not urgent? Then you can make a more economical interlibrary loan order through the Gemeinsamer Bibliotheksverbund GBV (i.e. Common library network) for a processing fee of € 1.50.
- With GetInfo the TIB offers a research portal for technical natural science information with integrated full-text delivery. It is possible, for example, to deliver directly to the workplace. Order and delivery information as well as an indication of date/time can be chosen arbitrarily, subject to copyright law applicable since 1 January 2008. GetInfo covers the scientific areas of architecture, information technology, mathematics, physics and engineering.
- The article copy delivery service of the TIB/UB is available exclusively for people affiliated with the LUH. Through the catalogue you can order single articles from the non-lendable collections of Building 2. They will be scanned and sent to you by e-Mail (alternatively they could be copied and sent to the circulation desk in building 1 for pickup). The fee of € 1.00 is booked to your fee account.
