European Documentation Centre

In 1979, the specialized library of Economics was put in charge of a European Documentation Centre (EDC), collecting a selection of printed periodic and non-periodic publications and current electronic journals in different subject areas of EU institutions. By acquiring corresponding publisher’s publications, the collections are completed. All acquisitions are classified formally and by subject area and referenced in the TIB/UB catalogue. The literature is shelved open-access, the majority of the items may be borrowed.
