Standards

In the PIN reading room a complete collections of the DIN standards is available. It can be viewed on site. Copies are only permitted to be made by the members of the LUH.

Besides the DIN standards, collections of German (i. e. AD, BAZ, DVGW, FGSV, VDE, ZVDH), international (ISO, ITU) and foreign (ASTM, JIS, SIA) institutions are available.

The Verband Deutscher Ingenieure VDI (i.e. Association of German engineers) guidelines can be copied on special VDI copy paper. Additional cost of € 0.65 per page (see  VDI handout 1) is incurred.

Individual documents are normally not included in the TIB/UB’s catalogue . Standards are opened via the database Perinorm.

Via the campus-wide access to Perinorm-Online the DIN standards are available online (Exception: those with VDE identification). (VDE: Association for electrical, electronic & informations technologies).
