Building 2 – offsite storage Rethen

• All technical and natural science subject areas
• 3.6 million volumes (older monographs and dissertations)/microforms
• Journals from the TIB/UB, with the exception of the last 5 years

Lending service and use of the reading room

• The holdings can be ordered like any other material via our catalogue. If an online order is not possible please use our order form.
• Journals and monographs from the non-lending collection can only be viewed in the reading room of Building 2.
• Loanable monographs from Building 2 can either be ordered by the catalogue to the central library (2 days delivery time) or to the reading room of Building 2 for collection.
• Literature ordered on-site is normally available after approx. 90 minutes. Orders for the same day are possible until 3:00 p.m..You can check in your user account at any time to see if the literature ordered online is ready for collection and where you can collect it. Please check your user account before you set off to Building 2.
• The literature will be available for pickup for 1 week.

• 2 coin-operated copiers (copy cards are not fit for use)

The TIB/UB offers members of the University of Hannover (staff and students) a copy delivery service for fast and uncomplicated literature supply.
