Further Learning Area Options in the LUH
- RRZN - PC-Pool
Students of the Leibniz Universität Hannover have the option of registering on a PC in the RRZN (Regional Computer Centre for Lower Saxony) using their LUH-ID.
The following functions are available:- Activation and management of the IDM-Account
- Surfing the internet
- Web-Mailer
- Document processing with OpenOffice
- Print quota of 200 sheets per semester free-of-charge

PC Work Stations
Room H210 is now available to students on weekdays between 9am and 5pm and when no seminars are taking place.
Aside from mandatory internet access, the computers have a variety of software for language learning and for other applications,
e.g. for editing videos.
All PCs are equipped with a headset and camera.

InfoLounge Main Building, F111
This new room gives Software Engineering students the opportunity to work on projects in alternating teams, to practice presentations or to ‘just’ learn. Room F111 in the Main Building of the Leibniz Universität, Welfengarten1 offers the suitable infrastructure in an area of about 230 sq.m including flexible furnishing options, a Smartboard and the facility to connect a laptop at every work station. A maximum of 75 students can all work in this room at the same time.

The CIP-Pool
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering’s CIP pool was established to offer students the opportunity to prepare and print out their study tasks from a PC, to learn new programmes and to research on the internet. At the same time, the CIP pool can be used for exercises and lectures.
